I've been going both hyper and hypo (no real diagnosis yet), and my blood pressure has been a lot lower than it normally is. I have read that if you're hyper, it tends to be higher (along with increased heart rate, etc.).
Yes. I am Hyper T and when first diagnosed my blood pressure was very high. I had always had low to low normal blood pressure. Now that my thyroid levels are leaning more toward the Hypo side, blood pressure is down. It spikes during times of stress. They Endo put me on a beta blocker initially to keep my bp and heart rate down.
Just make sure you stick with a good Endocrinologist. They monitor all of that for you:)
I'm 52, hypo and have never had high blood pressure. In fact, yesterday it was 96/64.
