Blood drawn tomorrow

Even though I have this nasty new problem on my back with the nodule Dx -  I am soooo excited to have my blood drawn tomorrow. Medication wise----- I feel so much better and I am hoping the new dosage change 6 weeks ago proves that!!!

Except for that lung stuff I had two weeks ago I feel great. No more panic - no depression - no heart palps- little acid no burning tongue - no IBS - . I almost feel like me --- like I use to. It is so morbid to think a person would look forward to a needle being stuck in their arm. --- HEY???  

Send good thought please -- I have waited almost 6 years to feel like this again and I may finally be very.... very close!!

and........ not only am I having the full thyroid panel done... BUT I am finally after 9 doctors --- I am having my first hormone and anitbodies test too. I HAVE BEGGED FOR YEARS ........and finally now it is going to be done. YAAAHOOOOO. If anyone has any words of widsom to share -- please do :)

Biopsy is schedule for March 3 - I decided to hold off a couple of weeks for insurance reasons.

I am sure I will need to post some of my blood work after I get the results - I hope you guys don't mind - I am just so excited I am ready to burst. It is a fasting test - but I will get it done a 7:20 am.

I won't get mushy - but if it wasn't for some of you guys................. I don't know............... I just don't know what I would have done. :(    

I am not posting much tonight - my hubby is really sick with that nasty thing I had 2 weeks ago. I just wanted to say thanks. :)

Should I change my kitty picture? I don't want people to think I am sticking my tongue out at them everytime I post?

You may be stuck in the arm by now (just read your post) but KUDOS to you GIRL ... you are definitely a member of the Chicken Club for sure!

Yeah, cat avitar for TGIF ... my kids are off from school this week so things kind of slow on the puter for me .. they tend to hog it!

We will make my avatar a topic for TGIF @ the thyroid pub Friday.  That will be a good conversation piece.

I don't know what I would of be been like without you all - you have taught me so much and gave me the strength to do more research and educated myself further on thyroid disease.

I really hope the newly Dx'd posters move forward in learning more and more about their conditions.

Thyroid patients like us who have been ill for so many years have alot of great knowledge to share. - It is a blessing to have this forum to use for our own peace of mind and well as sharing our knowledge with others. :)

I miss the putty tat!  Just thought you were sticking out your tongue at all those so-called drs.

Am praying for only good things to come your way!  Understand completely about being excited about the blood draws.  True story.  I almost didn't marry my first husband b/c I was so scared of getting the blood drawn.  My mom had to hold my head to the side and talk comfortingly to me.  I was 20 years old!!!  Now I have this HUGE bruise and knots where I had my blood drawn last week and it still hurts like heck, but still I go back and ask for more every time.  We're a crazy lot, aren't we?

We just want to see numbers that let us know we're on our way to healthy again after so many years.
