Dr said her symptoms sounded like hyper cause of the losing weight and insomnia being hot ECG I'll try to call and get the numbers on her results
Why did you say hyperthyroid symptoms? Was that what the doctor said?
Yes, it is very possible to have thyroid problems with normal test results. That is because the so called "normal" ranges far far too broad to be functional for many people. I don't really think you need to be so worried. Thyroid problems are very treatable. The most important thing is to have a good thyroid doctor. The doctor saying that she was shocked that results were "normal" in view of her symptoms, makes me wonder if that doctor is going to be what she needs.
If there is any way to get the test results before you go back in Monday, we will be glad to help interpret and prep you for a discussion with the doctor.
As soon as I get them from dr I will we go back Monday for more labs, I just got the call today from dr. I've been worried sick not knowing what's going on its just so stressful.
Please post her thyroid test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report.
