Can low thyroid cause lines in skin or wrinkles?

I'm starting to get lines in my forehead, acne, and bags under my eyes and dry skin. I have lines all throughout my face and my skin is wrecking havoc. I don't know if its due to low thyroid, because I've read it can cause lines in face but goes away once on the right treatment??? has anyone experienced this? My hands are also wrinkling and I;m only 22.. I want to know if its thyroid or not before I go and buy creams and things like that.

I beleive most do when your levels are optimal, Most of the wrinkles are the result of the skin drying out, which is a common symptom of thyroid disease, also it seems dehydration is another factor. I think you will find much better advise and cooperation here than the other web-site, but posting on both works too. It is very hard to give advice or comment without seeing your Free T3 and Free T4 levels. Being off on medication will not help your symptoms and they will no go away while you are still symptomatic.  Best Regards FTB4

I have to get a copy of my labs, but I posted a few of them on a forum called stop the thyroid madness and they said they were out of range. So i'm trying to get my GP to listen. I will post them in a few! I'm more concerned about the lines on my forehead..do they go away?

Yes those issues are thyroid related, I would invest in a good moisturizer
Are you on medication, its possible you are evperiencing symptoms if your levels are off. If you have your recent labs, please post them with the reference ranges provided, then members can advise/assist  Thank You FTB4
