.. The only thyroid-aware endo I have found does not think my sweats are from Levo. I dropped the pills for 100 days earlier this year and still had them. I tried all doses from 150 down to zero. there was little difference in my tests made each six weeks or so and the nausea, gut anxiety, dizzies, malaise etc went on and on undistrubed. They must come from the six meds I have to take for CAD -( stent 16 months ago, RCA)
Did you have your total in December as your profile suggests? If so, let's talk a bit more. If not, it may be time. I believe after yesterday's poor sonogram, I am nearing "must have" surgery myself, although I have fought this off for more than 2+ years after a t-storm. Sometimes, no matter how hard we fight and how much we think we can take, we still must have surgery.

I have cold night sweats..and my endocrinologist said that it is because my levels were still very low (hypo)..and that he has heard many people with this symptom.
I have been diagnosed with hashimotos and hypothyroidism and only taking 25 mg of levythyroxine I am also on 20 mg of prozac for anxiety. My mother has hypo too, my brother and sis have diabetes.. I seriously have shaky hands all day last blood test I took was tsh=.39 total t3=91 t4=.88 both antibodies were present and high
Im often cold and sweat. I know that just having the disease is going to cause many problems even when your levels are within normal range. Sweating is something that has increased for me over the past few years and i am now 36 1/2. Im showering more often because I am sweating more, even without feeling hot. I have awakened in a sweat, but not every day.
Painful Joints!!! Ah yes! This is a big one for me. I do get painful joints with hypothyroid. My levels tend to go up and down and i often have to get my levels checked (every 3 monhts) because my body is just too sensitive. I am faithful with my visits and my medication and won't miss a dose! I get symptoms right away. I can feel when my levels are hyper or hypo and Im never wrong. Yes, painful joints is a symptom from thyroid disease.
What medications, if any, are you on?
Do you have a family history of thyroid, pituatary, or parathyroid disease?
Have you seen a doctor about your symptoms?
A quick answer to your question is that many of us with thyroid disease have had these symptoms, they are also consistent with many other metabolic, autoimmune, and anxiety disorders.
A doctor's visit is in order - to one you trust. If you don't have one you trust, ask your friends for a referral of a good General Practice doc.
Best to your health.
I've had sweats at night for a year. Now sometimes in the day time. I feel hot inside and with skin cold. I thought it was levothyroxine but can be from other drugs. What are you taking
