Complex right lobe thyroid cyst. otherwise normal study

Please, if someone could explaine it to me
right lobe: 5.5 x 1.8 x 1.8 cm
left lobe: 5.3 x 2.0 x 1.8 cm
isthmus: 3mm.
complex cyst in the rihgt mid pole: 6 x 4 x4 mm. contains a mural nodule
no extra-theroidal abnormality.

that is the last ultra sound, previous one was close to this(7-8 months), but one that was before( first one) was without cyst and it was around 2 years ago.
I used to take potassium iodide 100 and kelp, but but yesterday it starts bothering me. I start to feel some sort of tightness in my neck, and it gose some times behind my ear. not strong but discomfortable

blood analysis are normal (TSH) but an urinanalysis contains protein(trace)
Thank You!

Could I trouble you please to elaborate on "additional iodine in the diet with normal hormone levels can cause more harm than good"  as there is a lot of chat these days about iodine supplementation and am concerned not to do a toxic thing!!  There is a thread on at the moment in the complimentary medicine board which maybe you could peek at?  : )

The "complex cyst" means that  it contains solid  and fluid [sponge like structure in the blister]; cyst of this size is usually monitored until it grows to 1 cm in diameter [which may take decades]then biopsy is performed.
Adittional iodine in the diet with normal hormone levels can cause more harm then good.
