Confused about test results and how I am feeling

The truth is that I have not been feeling well lately. According to my last test results I had some room to increase. I did that, but I continue to feel bad. My body tells me I need more medicine because I start having muscle pain. I increased my dose but the pain does not go away, and it seems I am feeling worse overall. I increased a little bit more my T4 medicine an still feeling bad. I would like to see my doctor in one more month from now after the increase.

Taking 2.5 grains of NatureThroid + 28.125 mg Synthroid July 2014

TSH: 0.016   0.45-4.7
FT4: 1.65     0.78-2.19
FT3:  3.1      1.8- 4.6

Previous results: February 2014 taking 1.75 grains of NT + 75 mg Synthroid
TSH: 0.01      0,55 - 4,78
FT4: 1.89      0,89 - 1,76
FT3: 3.7         1.8- 4.6 ( back in December my results were 4.0 with same dose)

Note the change in ranges. Note also that between February and July 2014 I increased NT and FT3 results decreased.

I was trying now to increase my T3 intake so I went for 3 grains ( I had been in this dose for a long time before my old endocrinologist took me out completely from NT and I crashed)
I am now taking 3 grain of NT and trying to stay with 9.375 mg of Synthroid, to keep my FT4 right where it is, but I started to feel bad with muscle pain so I started to increased my Synthroid to 28.125 per day, but I have the feeling that would be too much considering NT has T4 in it. Do not know what to do.

Thanks for any input

Thanks Gimel!  you are probably right, I have had always a not looking good Reverse T3. A couple of years back we decreased with my doctor, my NT and increased Cytomel. But my hair and skin were terrible dry and I was kind of feeling down. Then he added T4 took out the T3 alone and kept de NT, I noticed that my mood lifted and hair started looking normal for the first time in a very long time (for about 6 months both frees were on the top of the range)
I cannot test Reverse now, but maybe because I am raising both T3 and T4 ( and a little extra of this one) I am having these symptoms.

I was for about 6 months with no T3, that was a year ago, and little by little I have been introducing it back and feeling a little better.

I thought I wanted to keep at least both T3 and T4 above mid range, but it is a little difficult to calculate when adding T4 separately. In the past at 3 grains of NT only and after of six months on this dosage my both frees were below mid range and my FT4 was very low (1.1 in a range of 0.8-1.88)

My Vitamin D is around 55 and my Ferritin 57, but I started to take iron supplements about a month ago.

Thanks!

assuming that your Vitamin D is around 55-60 and your ferritin is 70-90 minimum, then the other possibility that occurs to me is that for numerous possible reasons you might be converting too much T4 to Reverse T3.  I had that happen to me when taking 3 grains of Armour and my ratio of Free T3 to Reverse T3 got to be around 1, which is much too low.  I persuaded my doctor to let me gradually reduce the Armour to 2 grains and add in 20 mcg of T3.  Now my ratio is good (well above 1.8), and Free T3 is at high end of range, and I feel great.
