Yeah, sorry about that...I think I misinterpreted the chart. I believe either 37.5 mcg of Cytomel OR 150 mcg of levo is equivalent to 90 mg of Armour, not the two added together. If you wanted to combine the two, you'd have to reduce the amount of levo and replace with an equivalent amount of Cytomel (1/4 the Cytomel for the reduction in levo, e.g. drop the levo to 100 mcg and add 12.5 mcg Cytomel).
Wow goolarra - that is high T3.
Thanks
90 mg of Armour is 37.5 mcg of Cytomel plus 150 mcg of levo.

You need to know what your free t4 level and free t3 levels are. You have to have the proper ratio of both or you will still remain and feel ill. So, you need T4 and T3 meds both. I switched from armour to synthroid and cytomel. And then had to do teh labs every 6 weeks to make sure I was on correct dosage. Cytomel is very potent. I was on 120mgs of armour. I am now up to 100 mcg synthroid and 15 mcg cytomel.
I don't know how helpful this will be, but if you search armour thyroid there are grids that tell you the ratio of t4 and t3 in each grain on armour. You could look to see what is in 60 and then half of that. Does that make sense? Your pharmacist also may be able to help you:)
I know it's tough going through changing meds. Hang in there. I am going through it right now.
