Could it be cushings?

I am 24 years old (Nearly 25), and I started my periods when I was 13 years old.  I was like perfect clock work until I was 16 (Nearly 17) years old.  I missed 1 period (Thought I was pregnant, doctors confirmed I wasn't).  Ever since then, I've had about 8 periods total.  Between the age of 17 and 18 I gained 100 pounds (I haven't changed my diet ever) I have had a cyst on my ovary that went away with birth control.  When I turned 18 I went through about a year of fertility treatments when I got married.  After 5 years of unprotected sex, still no baby. (We are now divorced and each are re married, my current husband and I haven't used condoms in almost a year)  Now, for the last year I have hair growing on under my chin and on my stomach.  I have always had brittle bones since I was younger.  I have also been heavier and shorter than my parents.  (Not a significant height difference, but about 2-3 inches).  When I was younger though, I was very active, but always the "bigger" kid.  Both my parents, grandparents and my sister are no overweight and very very healthy people.  Doctors are stumped completely.  My gyno even started hugging me asking me how I was doing each month he saw me, and would say "I don't know what to do next".  (Helpful huh?)
I am wondering if these are signs of Cushing Syndrom?  I am nervous about seeing a doctor and saying "I did some research on the internet..." I know that's gotta drive them nuts.  But... what do you think?

Thank you for the information, it's much appreciated.

Also wanted to add, I went and saw a naturalist doctor a few years ago, and he said that there was stress on my pituitary gland

Ask your doctors (an endocrinologist or reproductive endocrinologist) to check for Cushing's and PCOS. I tend to think PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) is more likely the culprit and is a more common.  Go to www.soulcysters.net and check out their website for more info on PCOS and see if your symptoms are similar.

Have you had cortisol/ACTH levels tested or an ACTH stimulation test to check for Cushing's or adrenal issues?  Have you had a glucose tolerance test to check for PCOS as well as fasting glucose/insulin levels?  Have you had your sex hormones checked, i.e. FSH, LH, testosterone, free testosterone, DHEA-S, DHEA and an ultrasound of your ovaries?

If you still can't figure out what is wrong the I would also ask for thyroid antibodies test (TPO, Thyroglobulin Ab) just to make sure you don't have thyroid issues because sometimes what the doctors say is normal range isn't always.

Hope this helps you out some.  I am just a thyroid patient so all this info is from me reading and researching hormones issues.  Good luck.

I don't know about "Tested" but the doctor just pulled that term out of the air one day.  Put me on glucophage, and I got very jittery for the next two weeks.  I couldn't focus or concentrate at all.  So he took me off the meds.

This is just all weird to me, cause I was fine 1 day when I was 16, the next day, everything went crazy and never got any better.
