Hello. Dr. just ordered a needle biopsy of my thyroid which has a hypervascular nodule. I am a bit nervous. Does this test hurt? What is the percentage nodule could be cancerous? Thank you
It usually isn't too bad .. they numb you first and it's ultrasound guided. I was lucky with just one stick. Others need one or two times to get a good amount of fluid.
