Feel like something stuck in throat

I have been reading that a potential symptom of Hashimotos is the sensation of have something stuck in your throat. I have had this for 2 weeks now. Like I have food or a pill stuck in my throat on the left hand side. My TSH is always very low. I’m wondering if this could be a thyroid module and if anyone else has experienced this?

Most of us who have hypothyroidism and/or Hashimoto's have had this feeling at one time or another.  It can be due to a nodule or simply a swollen thyroid.  It can also be due to other causes, including swollen tonsils and anxiety.

Have you had any tests, other than TSH done to check thyroid function?  Low TSH is, typically, associated with hyperthyroidism, but there's a form of hypothyroidism that exhibits low TSH, as well, along with low thyroid hormone levels.

In order to find out if this has anything to do with your thyroid, you'll need to get further testing done as TSH simply isn't enough.  You also need to have Free T4 and Free T3 which are the actual thyroid hormones, to determine thyroid function.  To find out if you have Hashimoto's, you'll need antibody tests.  Those tests are Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOab) and Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb).  Both are markers for Hashimoto's.
