How long before I feel better?

Please help! I feel terrible!!!  I sit on the coach most of the day. I had a TSH of 9.5 (one week later at 7.5).  My non generic synthroid was increased from 125 to 150mcg.  I have shortness of breath with every thing I do.  This hit me all of a sudden.  I am worried they have missed something in my diagosis and it isn't just my thyroid.  I have been on the increased med for 1 week and I feel worse than I did when they diagnosed me.
How long before I will feel better?  Should I press them to look for other things?

TSH lags up to 4 weeks after any noticeable change in Free T4 and Free T3, so you might have to wait 10 weeks to see that TSH drop  further.
Don't focus on the TSH anyway, it is a pituitary gland hormone to trigger the thyroid to release T4 into the body. Taking the synthetic T4 the pituitary gland takes a while to get the feedback loop correct.

  Hang in there.

Thanks FTB4
They discovered my TSh was 9.5 in Emergency room on Jan 25th.
They increased my generic synthroid from 125 to 150mcg.
After about a week it is now 7.5 (free t3 was 2.3 with range 2 - 4.4  and free t4 is 1.32   range .82 - 1.77 ).
i don't understand why my tsh is so far off and my free t3 and free t4 are within the range.  I just know that I feel terrible.

It takes at least six weeks between blood work before an adjustment can be made to your medication, the medication takes time to get into your system and kake a difference, we all go through this, I just had an increase in my meds from 75 to 137.5 and it made me worse too, if you can post your test results and ranges asking for help here, also the ranges on your test results. Good Luck FTB4
