HELP!

I'm a 39 yo male who has been suffering horribly and am trying to get to a conclusion about my symptoms. Just got back from Doctor and am narrowing down to possible thyroid problems.

Smptoms:

Terrible Burning pains in neck that radiate down accross pectorals and back
Horrible aching pains in tissue right above collarbones
Feel like something stuck in throat
Loose cartialage on right side of neck
Ear pressure and clogging sometimes painful (this is so frustrating) wont clear, feels like fluid in ears, muffled
snap crackle and pop when I swallow
A small itching burning sore on skin right on the surface of adams apple (about 3 weeks now)
Depression/ Anxiety
Dry heaves, panic in AM
Sleep trouble, lethargy
Foggy thinking, lack of concentration
Dizziness, headrush when suddenly stand
Once in a while night sweats
Tingling in fingers (not often)

Any feedback would be helpful. Having some blood work done: TSH and thyroid ultrasound. These symptoms about 7 months now..originally thought pain was in lungs..chest X rays, chest CT scan, MRI, breath test all good. Blood pressure good, no fever, previous blood work showed no signs of cancer.

Has anyone experienced this horrible burning pain in neck, below ears and down chest? Could it be realted to Thyroid?
This is driving me insane...cant think straight. Just terrible. Is the lesion on my neck possibly related? Any feedback would be so helpful..thank you!

Boy -- your symptoms sound very consistant with thyroid problems.

Make sure they run a full panel -- all the free T3 and T4's TPO for sure.... and the ever so popular TSH too.  Calcium maybe......  Sugar ....... Also on the safe side .. maybe due an RA blood draw too.

You might as well go through the whole thing all at once to rid your self of the most common things first.

I estimate my test will cost you about 8 viles of blood.. Get it all done right away - that at least is my thinking.
