I MISSPOKE ABOUT THE HIRSCHPRUNG'S SO SORRY THE PIT TUMOPR ISGONE AND THE THYROID WAS 3/4 REMOVED IN 03. NO ADRENAL TUMOR JUST WAS IN THE PITUITARY GLAND. MOST OF THIS IS FROM THE THYROID I FIND OUT LATE IN LIFE. I WILL JUST CONCENTRATE OF WHAT THE THYROID DID TO ME BORN ADDICTED TO CORTICOSTEROIDS. I WROTE THIS IN ANGER AND I BELIEVE SOME OF IT LIKE THE HIRSCHPRUNG'S WAS EXAGERRATED;BUT I DO HAVE CHRONIC CONSTIPATION. DID HAVE A COLONOSCOPY DONE ON 01/04/2012 AND ALL IS CLEAR. INDICATED MUST HAVE BEEN THYROID
Okay, I get that you have hypothyroidism, Cushing's Disease, with an apparent tumor on one of your adrenal glands, along with hirschprung's. Does that cover it?
Let's start with the hypothyroidism. Are you currently taking medication to treat it? If so, which one(s), at what dosage(s)? How long have you been on it? Do you have current lab results you could post (TSH, Free T3, Free T4), that you could post, along with the reference ranges, which vary from lab to lab, so must come from your own lab report. This will help members better assess your situation and offer comments. Have you been diagnosed with either Graves Disease or Hashimoto's?
Are you being treated for the Cushing's and are there plans to remove the adrenal tumor?
I'm not familiar with hirschprung's, but I know it's an intestinal blockage that requires surgical removal of a portion of the intestine and the colon. Are there plans to have this surgery?
no just hypothyroidism and a cushingoid tumor.. they keep testing me for hirschprung's and keeps ruling it out i do have chronic constipation sorry to mislead on the hirschprung's. sorry i was so angry
No, you're not alone, but your information is so non-existent that we can't help you.
I guess you "rock back and forth" between hyper and hypo? Maybe, that's correct? A lot of people do/have done that, but if you are looking for help/support, we need more information....
What are your latest thyroid test results, with reference ranges? Have you been diagnosed with Graves Disease? Is there a treatment being suggested?
Those will get us started.... and you might want to change your profile to show that you are female...
