Hashimoto’s with 95 degree body temp. Should I be concerned?

I have hashimoto’s that I treat with Synthroid. Numbers have been fairly regular over the last few years. I recently caught a cold that’s been pretty rough on my body. Over the last couple days I’ve had random feelings of a hot flash but whenever I take my temperature it’s been between 95.0 and 95.6 degrees. I initially thought it might be a faulty battery but testing it on other family members the thermometer was working just fine.

My questions are: is this normal for someone with Hashimoto’s? (This is my first time experiencing this). And if so any recommendations on getting back to normal?

Thanks in advance!

Low body temperature is quite common with hypothyroidism.  It is a likely indicator of you being inadequately treated.  What other symptoms do you have?  What is your daily dose of Synthroid?  Please post your thyroid related test results and reference ranges shown on the lab report.
