Hey everyone! What do you do dto relax in all this?

What do you do to relax pre-or post- op?

I have a few that are nature sounds with soft music playing in the background.  Sometimes Enigma works well for me.  A month ago I found one I've been looking for (they play it at some of the spas I like:  Steven Halpern's Chakra Suite (found it on Amazon).  I put this on "repeat all" on my CD player when I sleep.

I take walks and nice warm baths.I meditate in the bath to release all the negative energy I have picked up during the day and then I imagine it flowing out of me and down the drain.It is amazing how good I feel when I do that.
I also meditate outdoors and I imagine I am a tree with deep roots and the earth builds my enrgy back up .

New age music (the relaxing kind they play at day spas), scented bath, and long window shopping excursions (no kids).  TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF!

I joined Massage Envy, so I get one massage a month for $49 and if I want more it only cost $39.  I consider it part of my medical expenses. Speaking of...I figured up the other day that if I did not have insurance, my health care cost for my thyroid problem to date would have cost me close to $40,000.  My insurance has paid out around $18,000, and I've had to fork out around $1,600 so far.  Don't think I'll complain. Makes me glad I have good health insurane

I take a hot bath and watch a tv show..or else I make signatures (picture editing stuff)

I am the same way with incense.I drive my hubby crazy burning it when I meditate And I always have at least 2 or 3 candles going  too to help me focus.And my new age music.LOL I feel soooo good when I get done

Hi Rachel.......What I did the last time (4 weeks ago) was have my Mom come and stay with us for a week and a half so i could relax when I needed to.  She was a huge helping cleaning , making supper and just having another adult other than husband to talk to.  
I read a little, watched some daytime tv (which I forgot how crappy the selction is!!)  and did some shopping when I felt up to it.
Hope you are doing well and are able to relax whenever you can.
