Do you not eat enough protein?  I have a high T3 uptake and I am a vegetarian and I read that low protein can produce a high T3 uptake.

My T3 is very high 32.84 but T4 and TSH are normal. My doctor is stumped. I have swelling of hands and feet, lots of back pain, constantly battling thrush, tired and forgetful. Any Ideas out there??

Hmmmm....Very interesting. What about itching? I've had a few "events" of extreme itching. It's like I can scratch all over but I can't seem to scratch the right area. It's like, everywhere!

I break out into a rash on my scalp and my face whenever my threes are too high. I don't know why. It happened whenever my nodules would make me hyper. Then again when the doc added Cytomel.
