distressing symptoms

Hello
I think i may be hyperthyroid. I was just wondering if the following symptoms relate to hyperthyroidism?
Sweating (cold and hot)
Burning skin sensations
Cool clammy skin at other times
Sore eyes like when you have the flu
Tight and sore muscles/skin
I would appreciate any feedback
thanks

I agree with those above, get your tests as soon as possible which as you said, you intend to do anyway. But just thought I'd tell you I have all those symptoms, and at present I am swinging between hypo and hyperthyroid. And from the help I've received since I started coming here and trying to get diagnosed, I believe a lot of the symptoms of both hyper and hypo overlap anyway. Hope this helps.

It interesting what different hyper symptoms people get- for me I never had trouble sleeping even when my TSH is the lowest..but I do feel pressure around the eyes, shortness of breath, high heart rate, pain touching hot things, sweating and way over eating without weight gain. The best bet is to get tested...that will be the indicator. If you have a history of thyroid problems...it makes sense. If you don't, there could be other causes for your symptoms.

I've had those symptoms with exception of the sore eyes and muscles. My eye pain was more of a sharp pain and muscle was muscle weakness not soreness. Also sweating was from feeling overheated. Post your test results when you get them.

Do you have crazy mood swings and uncontrolled anger? That's when I really know my thyroid is hyper. And heart palpitations?
