They just took blood yesterday. One they call I will post them. Not sure if they tested the free T4 and Free T3 on this one. I go to regular Dr., they tend to only check TSH.
I have Hashimoto's disease
In other words, once on thyroid medication TSH can be in hyperthyroid range but you aren't hyperthyroid. If you are showing clear hyperthyroid symptoms that is another matter. If your doctor has dropped your medication based on the TSH alone, then you can be undertreated. Do you have your lab results?
Free T4 and Free T3 were also off as well.
"Once on hormone replacement, the TSH remains useful until it goes BELOW 0.4. Then one has optimized thyroid function by the TSH yardstick; it then remains to optimize thyroid function by the yardstick of the accurate measures of the 2 thyroid hormones, the Free T4 and Free T3 levels." - Dr Mercola - Optimum Diagnosis and Treatment of Hypothyroidism With Free T3 and Free T4 Levels.
