Hypothyroid/ severe light headed spells

Hello all , I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism with a TSH level of 6.82 and free T4 of 0.9 . Periodically I have these extreme dizzy / light headed episodes where I have to grab the nearest surface . They seem to last up to an hour or so until I can get my balance to walk . I started on Levothyroxine .25 mcg and after a trip to the ER after one of these spells they put me on Synthroid . I had another spell last night while standing in the kitchen . Anyone else had anything similar ? I really feel lousy . Any suggestions ? I have booked an appointment with ENT and physical therapist just invade it is ear related rather than a thyroid symptom . I am a newby so all the advise I can get will be much appreciated :-)

Actually my BP has been better than ever 120/65 . I am also covering all my bases and going to an ENT just invade it is a totally separate symptom . I have also read that allergies and fluid in the ears can be a symptom of Hypo Thyroid ... I've had that for years :-/

Is your BP low?  Low BP is often a symptom of hypo and could be causing your dizziness.

I get extreme bouts of dizziness/light headedness from time to time. Some days I feel dizzy all day, some days it will just come and go for a moment. I'm fairly new Hashi's and have only been on medication for about three months but just thought it'd help you to know you're not alone. That's not to say you shouldn't get checked out just to be safe; I did. It's always nice to rule out other causes of unfavorable symptoms just so you don't waste time worrying about it.
