TgAB Question

Ok I just got results from the dr that included a thyroglobylin AB level.  What is this?  Any information you can provide will be helpful.  I didn't even know that this existed.

I pulled the info from your other post.  Your TgAB being .8 is way too low to be interfering with your Tg levels.  Your Tg being at 2.1 post thyroidectomy and two rounds of RAI is way too high.   Push through those doctors who are telling you to wait and watch, especially since you are developing "cysts" in the thyroid bed after your last RAI.  They need to either do another surgery and see what is going on or schedule another RAI (or both).   Be pushy or find another doctor (or both).  ENTs are also good at dealing with thyroid issues.

Hang in there my friend!

TgAb   (thyroglobulin antibodies) and TPOab (thyroid peroxidase antibodies) are for testing of the presence of thyroid attacking antibodies.  Thyroid  antibodies are the reason for autoimmune thyroid disease like Hoshimoto  (hypo) and Graves (hyper).

You didnt mention what or if you have thyroid disorder symptoms. ?
