Hypothyroidism and overheating?

So, my doctor just got the results of my blood tests, and apparently I have underactive thyroid, and three times the normal liver enzymes. I couldn't ask him a lot of questions and it will take a few days before I can go and see him, but I have a lot of questions that just won't stop bugging me.
For instance, one of the symptoms that bothers me the most is that I keep having hot flashes a lot. But shouldn't it be the opposite with hypothyroidism? (Just wanted to add that I am a male in my 20s and my testosterone levels are completely normal) Is it possible for hypothyroidism to cause the feeling of being hot instead of cold?
Also, do the liver enzymes have anything to do with hypothyroidism, or is that a separate issue I'll have to look into?
Sorry for all the questions, it's all just a bit of a shock to me and I'm pretty confused.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and have a wonderful day!

Yes, liver enzymes can be elevated while hypothyroid. Thyroid treatment should help but I used milk thistle drops and  coconut oil in my coffee for two months and my AST and ALT dropped 40-50  points.  My dr was shocked.

Both my liver enzymes were elevated with Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Both enzymes went back down on thyroxine. I had hyperthyroid symptoms on and off for years due to Hashitoxicosis.
