It is a good diet if a person eats meats.

CLA can be purchased in pill form.

Veggies eat lots of nuts and seeds and vegetables. I am lacto ovo meaning I eat dairy. However, I mostly eat it summers for diet control, winters I strictly eat vegetables, nuts and seeds.  However, diary is not too  good either, but what other choice do we have. (?)

There are some oils, nuts and nut products that contain CLA
such as: corn, (soy), peanut, cotton seed, olive, sunflower seed, walnut, and safflower, used as salad dressing and cooking destroys any nutrients in oils.  Also dried roasted and salted almonds, unsalted Brazil nuts (very high in selenium) and unsalted cashews.
Peanut butter commercial or natural,  roasted peanuts, sweetened shredded coconut, raw pecan halves,  dry sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and raw English walnuts.  Brazil nuts being the high-test, second English walnuts, and third sunflower seeds.

Peanuts have been knowing as a diet aid if eaten in moderation - it curbs the appetite.

thats not a good diet for a vegie. since soy has so many negatives, what is a vegie to eat--no tofu, no soy, no soy milk, fish has a lot of iodine, what do you eat--you are a vegie.

CLA is called the good fat  "conjugated linoleic acid". Conjugated linoleic acid is a trans fat.

CLA is found in nature, and this natural form does not have any known negative side effects. The most abundant source of natural CLA is the meat (eg lamb, beef) and dairy products of grassfed animals. However, Kangaroo meat may have the highest concentration of CLA when compared with other foods.

CLA may be beneficial in other aspects, including prevention of breast and colon cancer, and prevention of insulin resistance and type II diabetes. Additional potential benefits include a reduction in food-induced allergic reactions, as well as the overall enhancement of the immune system.

I hope this is what she meant.  If not, she'll have to come back and correct me with full spelling.
