Itching redness and pain

All of sudden one day I have itchy on my leg, finger or hand and i start scratching...after some time that part turns reddish and sligt swelling will be there...then I will start feeling muscular sprain or bone pain(I can't tell what it is) like pain...I will apply pain balms and in 1 or 2 days it goes off and then it comes back in any other part...this I had 10 months before...consulted doctor...tested for arthritis and uric acid which all came back negative...then he referred me to a cardiologist and did a complete check up of heart and he told I am perfectly alright and atlast he gave me a multivitamin tablet for 10 or 20 days...I don't remember it's name now...after that I didn't had this till yesterday... yesterday I had same problem on my right arm just around elbow joint...anyone experienced this or know what this is??I have hypothyroidism and it's normal now(still continuing medicine).is this vitamin d deficiency?

Vitamin D deficiency can cause bone pain.   The thing is:  if you have vitamin D deficiency, most likely, you'd have bone pain throughout your body - not having it "travel" around to whatever part just stopped itching.

You would really need to get your levels tested to know whether or not that's your problem.  Talk to your doctor; it's a simple blood test.

Have you had vitamin D tested?  That would be the best way to tell if your problem is related to vitamin D deficiency.

Are you no longer taking the multi-vitamin?  Lack of B vitamins can also cause dry, itchy skin.  Since the itchiness went away while you were taking the multi (which would contain, both B vitamins and vitamin D), you should talk to your doctor and see if you can start it again.

Hypothyroidism can also cause dry itchy skin and even though your thyroid labs might be in range, doesn't mean it's normal for you since we're all different.

Itchiness is ok...bt I wonder why it ends up in pain on that part...not pain due to scratching but some bone pain or muscle pain like one
