Levothyroxine spasms/seizures

After having a thyroidectomy I am taking levothyroxine (in Greece is ethyrox 112). My T3 is 0,88 (normal 0,8-2,0) my T4 is 7,91 (normal 5,1-14,1) and my TSH is 1,31 (normal 0,27-420).  For a reason I haven't been able
to find out (no matter how many tests I ve been taking from endocrinologists, pathologists, neurologists etc) I 've developed in chills, muscle spasms and small seizures (without loosing conscience) of 1-2 seconds each. But these spasms and seizures may last for the whole night. The day I forget to take levothyroxine I have no incidences. Also by the time I started levothyroxine (and by the time the incidences started) I have developed an intolerence in foods and drinks that are taste enhancered. This intolerence also leads to spasms and to small seizures. After 2,5 years suffering from this I am thinking of trying the non-synthetic T3-T4 but is not available in my country and really I have no idea (in case I manage to get it) if its for better of for worse. Unfortunately no doctor here knows any similar case, so if you have any info that could help me it would be a start...

Levothyroxine is a generic term for a number of brands of synthetic T4 med.  Is there any indication of which brand you are taking?  The reason I ask is that there can be some differences in the binders/filler material used to produce the tablets.  People occasionally have reactions to some brands due to the binders/fillers.

Beyond that,  people taking thyroid med sometimes have reactions due to low cortisol or low ferritin.  If you haven't been tested for those It would be a good idea to do so.  For cortisol it is best to do a diurnal saliva (free) cortisol test panel which is 4 tests taken over a full day.  Doctors don't know much about that test and instead will order a morning serum (total) cortisol test.   That one is not nearly as revealing as the saliva tests.  You also should test for ferritin and supplement with iron as needed to optimize to about 70 minimum.
While you are at it, I also suggest testing for Vitamins D and B12.  D should be about 55 min.  and B12 in the very upper end of its range.
