Had TT in August and RAI in September for follicular cancer. Been on 150mg of generic synthroid since September. Endo says my TSH level is good (0.08) but am still super tired and have a lower body tempature than I had before I lost my thyroid. My Endo says the tiredness and cold extremities is not thyroid related and my levels are "fine"; come back and see me in six months. My primary care doctor says the cold extremities, horse voice, lower body temperature and tiredness is related to my non-existent thyroid; he tested my adrenal gland (all was well) and had my TSH level with Free T3/T4 tested. My TSH is "almost non-existent" at 0.08; my free T4 was 1.8 and free T3 was 2.9. From what he said both are on the lower end but still in the normal range. Is this normal or something abnormal? Do I just need to be more patient? Why do doc's sometimes just follow the numbers and forget all their patients subjective sympthoms?
