Normal T3/T4, High TSI/TPO...what gives?

My T3, T4, & testosterone levels all are within range, but my TSI and TPO are high. TSI is 161, TPO is 77. I am on Levothyroxine 50 mg/1x day and Metformin 500 mg/2x day. So far the Levothyroxine is not mixing well with my system as it is causing extreme fatigue and crankiness. On the otherhand, the metformin is working wonders. It is helping with my weight loss and eating less.
So my question is.. what would cause the conflicting results of the TSI and TPO? Is it Graves Disease or Hashimotos? or both??? neither?
I'm so confused as is my doctor.

one more thing I forgot to add..
I did have a thyroid ultrasound and no nodules or abnormalities were found (remarkable).
