Normal values - ping pong ball on my neck

I recently went to doctor because this painless lump in my neck showed up, it feels quite large and is visible to my friends. I thought it was a swollen lymph node so ignored it for 2-3 weeks. it only causes discomfort when i swallow . My dr fellt my neck and said my gland was enlarged and maybe felt a nodule. and ordered tsh and t4, both normal. tsh (1.64) and t4 (1.13). my other symptoms despite the neck lump were irregular cycle and fatigue i have had fine hand tremors and irritable and difficulty concentrating for long time(long work up by another dr for pressumed add or something and never felt better on mood meds so switched to this new doc.) Also an ultrasound which i have scheduled in the morning. While my symptoms indicate a thyroid disorder my labwork does not. How might the doctor make this lump in m neck go away? I'm a young single working mom and this is really stressing me out!

Entire U/s report reads as follows: (any input: would be appreciated)
enlarged right lobe 4.4 x 1.9 x 1.9 cm. Complex nodule occupies majority of mid portion of right lobe. nodule measures 1.9 x 1.6 x 1.9cm
Left lone enlarged measuring 4.9 x 1.6 x 1.8 cm contains multiple cysic nodules all less than 1cm diameter.
multiple cyst are identified throughout the enlarged thyroid gland, largest in the right gland being heterogenous in echgenic patter.

I am obsessing! What is going to be next? Nodules seem to be a common thing, is that 1.9cm nodule making it hard for me to swallow. how do you get these custic nodules! I wish this doctor would hurry up and call me!

I still have not heard from the Doctor ...the waiting is horrible, and for some reason my body is all achy, I;m tired ALL the time and moody, as well as can only tolerate soft foods like oatmeal and mash and gravy. I want to be fair to the Dr. I know I am not his only patient but seriously! I guess if it was serious I would have heard something on friday. Reading theses boards, is a little unnerving too. I initially had made my appt because I was making a switch from 1 gp to another because I have had this long work up for mood disorder/ADHD couldnt tell which one and I wasnt getting better on meds like strattera effexor lexapro etc.(doubtful thatr I have a mood disorder or adhd, did very well in school) and the first doctor didnt lay hands on me or draw labs. Then this lump prompted me to switch. I guess it just helps to dump all y concerns on here.

Ultrasound impression read multiple cystts identified throught an enlarged thyroid gland. the largest being heterogenous in echogenic pattern. Guess I need to wait for the doc to call and tell me what to do, I'm just so impatient and if it means seeing a specialist, means months before getting sorted out.
