High Thyroid Antibodies

I used to have high TSH and took synthroid but somehow it seemed to have corrected itself at one point so I went off the Synthroid. Lately I have had a lot of problems with anxiety/panic/insomnia. I had a doctor check me and my TSH was normal so he offered antidepressants (actually this is after another doctor offered birth control pills which worked for 2-3 months, then made me very sluggish).

The new doctor found that my antibodies are high and offered me Armour and Klonapin to take temporarily to help me sleep.

I mentioned this to my OB and he said there is no need to take thyroid meds. . .I should wait 4 months and test again.  

Any opinions on this?

I am going to respond to you so I can bump your post up.  Hopefully others will chime in and help with your results as I am kind of new to this myself.  Lets see what others say before I offer my opinion.

T4 -- 1.41 (.73-1.95)
TSH -- 1.8 (.3-5.1)
DHEA SULFATE 145 -- (35-430)
T3 -- 3.0 (2.3-4.2)
Thyroid Peroxidase AB -- 163 (<35)
Thyroglobulin AB -- 52.6 (<40)

what were your results and what tests were ran?  Can you post your results with the reference range if possible?

Also my ANA panel came out positive but he said the other inflamation markers were negative so it's not something like Lupus.
