i'm going to give blood to if my body can take it for all metals titanium and nickel are the main two the clips are made of this stuff.
I'm just got tested for Tag F3 and F4 will get results on Tuesday. Told my new doctor who is an Internal medicine doctor I want to find out whether my level is where it should be. It was elevated in January don't know level, nurse didn't say but will get copy of this test. Like you mentioned Barb I have been to 3 treatments at my Chiropractor. She is concerned about the tightness on the right side of my next but am feeling better. I aggravated my neck left shoulder previous injurys from 1996 shoulder and rotator cuff in 1998. She's really awesome has gotten me out of a lot of pain in my lower back. Have fallen while cross country skiing and tripped down three steps fell on but in 1998.
She wants to crack my neck but no luck so she backed off. They say if you wiggle your toes then you won't think about the neck cracking. The last orthopaedic doctor cracked my neck I was sore fuor weeks. So that's why I'm hesitant. My friends brother is a Chiropractor and she told me all of our tension are in our shoulders. plus I work at a call center inbound calls and wearing the headset does not help, but been doing this since March 2011 for work. I have a desk that moves up or down so I cB sir or stand.

Could these be staples that should have been removed after surgery?
Well it sounds like the metal clips might be causing the pain? Id look into that.... the magic bullet!
I go see him thursday he was told about my neck pain a week after the surgery and he told me it was a muscle that was in 2009 it's 2012 and pain is still there but worst so I'm going to a Chiropractic he the one who sent me for xrays.
One year before I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism I began with terrible neck pains...went to doctors for xrays, had numerous treatments and they only helped temporarily. When I was treated for hyperthyroidism with anti thyroid medication, the neck pains stopped. Over the year of treatment the only time neck pains return is when my medications need readjustment. It is VERY related to thyroid disease!
metal clips, without you being aware??? I suggest that you speak to your surgeon, who did the surgery and bring the xray's to him.
Why would you have metal clips in your neck? Of course, that could cause pain... you need to find out why they are there and see about having them removed.
