Please Help...

I am 35 mother of 4, had hashimotos for 8 years now went from 160-210 in the last year and a half.  My levels are normal now.  Had low iron...but that is better...Still extremely tired all the time...and extreme heat intolerance/hot flashes...occasional low blood sugar.  I try to eat very well low carb no sweets...good proteins.  I am doing weight watchers and walking not losing a thing.  The worst part is the hotflashes.. Please help!

I too have been experiencing heat intolerances/hot flashes when I'm in a warm enviornment and often feel dizzy and panicky when these occur. I am also 35. I'm usually very cold and my labs show I'm hypo. I've been increasing my levothyroxine over the past few months. Was thinking it was a side effect to that???? I also do weight watchers started in November and lost 23lbs so far. You really need to track your food and drink your fluids. It does work when I follow it with out cheating or saying to myself that doesn't count so then I dont track it. Its the only thing thats worked for me. Exercise is not enough. Good luck!

Please post your actual FT3, FT4 and TSH results with their reference ranges.  That will help us provide you with a better answer.

Which meds are you on, and what's your dose?
