Post Op question

I will be two weeks post op (partial thyroidectomy) on Thursday and I ocasionally feel like I have a 'lump' in my throat. I can feel it mainly when I swallow, like I'm swallowing a small ball.

I go to the Dr. tomorrow to have the stitches removed and I will mention it to him...but was just wondering if anyone else experienced this.

Thank you!

Healing to All,
Michelle

Thank you! I seem to be worrying over every little thing...LOL.

I got the stitches out today and mentioned the 'lump' to the Dr., he said exactly what you guys said.... it's swelling and it will go away.

Who needs Dr.'s when we have each other here :)?

Just wanted to let you know that I had it as well.  It took a little while to go away, but it does go away.

Thank you!  I was hoping it was normal :).  I thought I had injured something by bending over.

Yes, I did.. It's normal and from what Dr said that that feeling can last awhile because it's swollen. Hope you heal quickly
