Should i have a surgery now or later?

Hi my story is that 5 months ago i had an ultrasound and i had 3cm of a cyst on my thyroid.I had a byopsy and it wasn't cancerous but the doctor said it was a cold nodule and is my choise if i want to remove it now or after 6 months.I'm not taking any pills to shrink it or anything.My right side of my neck is swollen and it hurts all the time.My question is should i wait after 6 months to have another ultrasound and see what it's gonna show or to remove it now.I don't want that syst to turn to cancer and have worse problems after.Plus i have 3 more very small nodules on my left side of my neck.Iforgot to say that the 3cm cyst is solid with a fluid in it.

Hi Loonette.Thank you so much for answering..Ihave done the blood tests and everything it seems normal.Just is the nodule that is so big and i'm worry about it.

Being that you have a solid and cold nodule.....calls for concern. I also have a multinodular goiter on both sides and the biopsy comes back benign, however due to the abnormal cells within the thyroid...i am recommended to have surgery. I suggest that you seek at least two more opinions from specialists and take it from there. Also...do lots of research so that you may better understand what's goin on. Be Blessed.

Hi,
Have you had any blood work done?  It seems that you should just to be on the safe side to rule out a thyroid issue.  If you truly have some of the symptoms of a thyroid disease, lab results would be helpful.

Hi TamraW thank you so much for answering to me.The specialist told me that i don't need any pills and he believes that the symptoms i have fatigue all this stuff is not from my thyroyd.Idon't believe him anyways.He wasn't that helpfull.Sorry if my english are not that good.

Questions: Why aren't you taking the pills to shrink it? Do you mean thyroid medication like Synthroid or Armour?

Do you have any other issues besides cysts? Fatigue, constipation, muscle pain, depression, rapid heart rate, ear pain, dry skin, brittle nails/hair, losing hair, weight issues???
