Results of my post tsh blood results

Ok...as many of you know, I had a tt on 12-17-09...Started synthroid 4 weeks later (after blood work). Here are my results:

                                                           Results                                         Reference  Range
                                                           (in range)          (out of range)
Calcium                                                9.5                                                         8.6 - 10.0 mg/dl
TSH , 3rd Generation                                                          39.51 (H)                  0.40-   4.50 mIU/L
T4, Free                                                                               0.3  (L)                   0.8  -   1.8 ng/dl
T3 uptake                                               25                                                         22  -   35 percent
T4 free Calculated                                                                  0.6 (L)                    1.4  -  3.8 Units

Although, I haven't spoken to my Endocrin in reagards to my results, I did see my pcp yesterday, and she told me that the TSH will be high indicating that my thyroid fuctions are low due to the thyroidectomy. My question is:
, what symptoms will appear, if any since my TSH level is high and the medication dose isn't strong enough? I was started on 50mcg's as a start.     Thanks in advance

Symptoms of hypothyroid include:-
constipation, slowed digestion (can cause hyperacidity), fatigue, depression, feeling cold, muscle aches and pains, weight gain, among others.  You can google hypothyroid and you'll find a good list.

However, your meds should be adjusted up based on your latest resutls and hopefully you will avoid too many problems.
