DMS44444... Do you have current lab results you could post for us, so we can see what your actual thyroid hormone levels are? Please be sure to post reference ranges with all lab results, since ranges vary lab to lab.
Sweating could be a sign of over medication.
What dose of Synthroid are you on and how long have you been on this dose?
I am 68 years old and have long passed menopause hot flashes. I had my thyroid removed 5 years ago and am on synthroid. These hot flashes just started a few days ago and happen frequently during both day and night. I am also a lung cancer survivor of 8 years. Suggestions why I am getting these hot flashes???
I'm sure you didn't mean to, but typing in all capital letters is equivalent to yelling at people. Not to mention that it's very hard to read.
This is a thyroid forum. Are you asking your question in relation to a thyroid issue? If not, MedHelp does have forums for both menopause and women's health.

Well hon....I have heard that us poor females will have these symptoms for the rest of our existance. Maybe one day before we are gone they will come up with a cure of it. We just have to adapt, I know that sounds cruel but since is NO cure...we're STUCK!
But if you are having a really bad time of it with the hot and cold...then I would see your family doctor to make sure you are not coming down with something.
Sorry if not better info.
