I'm surprised (and a bit relieved) to see I'm not the only one with this 'sweating on 1/2 the body - only the "up" side' syndrome.
Does anyone have any information on this? Any links/topics/clues would be appreciated.

hi tfla, i have the same problem as you. I don't know what's cuasing the problem! sweating on the opposite side of the sleeping side! i also have it accompanied by cold and it happens especially when there's air flowing through the room, when i turn to sleep on back or stomach, the sweating stops! it's just so weird! i'm a male by the way, 29 of age
Lol..now come on mate, i think its good for the male species to learn a bit on what us poor females have to suffer..Look up what it does cause and you might be able to help us more than we can LOL..
Once again, I am reminded of being outnumbered. Where else could a guy be surrounded by so many ladies and not get kicked out (yet)?
What the few of us men here need is, a list of what menopause doesn't cause so we can just steer clear of these questions altogether!
LOL !
Ive heard of the top half with menopause :) like a flush i think this is top..
Well, I never heard of the 'top half' thing. But night sweats are a common symptom of both hyper and hypo thyroid issues. When meds are at proper levels with the right thyroid med that YOUR body needs, this and other symptoms should go away.
Not sure if your male or female and what age as this can be hormones, do you have a thyroid issue, any medical problems, can be a number of things going on but need to know more about you..
