Synthroid. . .missed dose

Hi all!

Quick question. . .I forgot to take my synthroid this morning (.137 after a TT)
I usually take it at 6:00am, and I won't get home tonight until around 8:00pm. . .is it better to take the dose then, or to just wait until tomorrow morning?
Also, being that I don't have a thyroid at all, will missing a dose mess me up?

thanks folks!

I just returned from a conference where this was discussed.  The doctor says take the missed dose as soon as you can, then resume your normal schedule. Synthroid is in our system for an extended time, so missing one is not going to upset things too much. Even two missed doses can be taken together.

You could do either one, really.
Taking one tonight MAY make it hard to get to sleep, or it may not.

Missing one dose is not a disaster, and you could wait until morning if you want to.
