Is 25mg of Synthroid a safe dose to start the treatment with??

I'd check with your pharmacy. 25 mg may be a typo on your script bottle. Synthroid is measured in mcg's. No one ever takes 25 mg. The highest dose Synthroid tablets come in is 200 mcg. Verify with your pharmacy.
