Test done today

Went to see my second opinion doctor today, acted like nothing was abnormal with the nodules in my neck - however he had his partner take 12 biopsies - I told him I was scheduled for the 21st - he said no, I want my partner to do it. then he told me to call him Monday at 2pm and he would tell me my results - he also thinks I'm hypo - even though my blood tests are normal - they are not even low normal - I'm so confused - he said my raspy voice is NOT from my thyroid - this is the second doctor in 2 days and I don't care for either one - anyone else have raspy voice?

Thanks, I did not have any thing to numb the neck - I just was told to lay on the table with my neck tilted back, it really was not that bad - I don't want to do it again, but if I had to I could. My neck is really sore, is this normal? I have been reading on this site so many of the stories of cancer and it does not seem as rare as the doctors claim it to be. For those of you that are recovering from thyroid cancer, were your blood tests normal or did you have a known thyroid issue like hypo/hyper?

Were the doctors endos? What are your test results? As for the raspy voice - It can be related to both hypo and nodules in the neck. My voice has changed - and I am unsure if it has to do with being hypo or the nodule - or for that matter -- the meds. I jus know it is different.

My ENT addressed the voice change and he feels it has to do with the nodule I have.
