Thyroid Nodule Growth

Previously I had 1 complex nodule measuring 4 mm and 1 solid nodule measuring 5 mm, this was in April 2014
On my most recent ultrasound in Nov 2015 the complex nodule grew to 9.5.5 mm and I have a new solid nodule measuring 3.6 mm. Both the solid nodules are hypovascular. My blood work is the following:
• TSH, High Sensitivity 1.33 mU/L
• T3 Free Non-Dialysis 3.8 pg/mL
• Microsomal TPO Antibody <10 IU/mL
• T4 Free Non-Dialysis 1.1 ng/dL

My Doctor says she is concerned with the growth but she wants to still wait and do another ultrasound in 3 months to see if it has grown anymore.
Is this significant growth for the time frame?
