Thyroid and swelling of legs

Greetings to all

I am hypo then was put onto 100mg Thyroxin per day and later also 125mg of Armour - months I told the dr Armour is not working for me - my legs and abdominal area is swollen and feels as if I am retaining a lot of water.  Later dosage was dropped to 40mg of Armour and 50 Thyroxin - I felts awful for a long time.  Armour was removed in July and then I was on 50mg of Thyroxin and 20mg of Cytomel for T3.  Slowly started feeling a bit better yet still tired.

Latest results Free T3 2.35 pg/ml range 2.23 -3.61
Free T4  0.66 ng/dl  Range 0.83-1.35
TDH  1.01 uIU/mL  Range 0.35 - 2.82

Now told to use 75mg of Thyroxin and 20mg of Cytomel first thing on an empty stomach early in the morning.

Was also given various products with Magnesium and Potassium and Selenium to use.  Also a cream that contains Melatonin to rub onto my face at night when I go to bed.

I also have problems with my eyes - for a while they felt as if there is sand inside and they have a red tinge to the eyelid - my right eye slightly looks larger than the left.  I think this could be the effect from having been on such a high dosage and then dropped to very little too soon - am I right?  I wear sunglasses and lift the top of my bed in the hope that my eyes will improve as at times I also get headaches.

how do I rid myself of the Edema?

Will be seeing an Endo as soon as I am able to get an appointment.

Here in Hong Kong you have to wait your turn to get into the que to see the endo - I will know within the next 4 days when my appointment will be.

Even though I am thin feel very bloated and just not myself.

Any advice and thanks

Cytomel should be given at a ratio of 4 to 1...for example.....100mcg thyroxin and 20mcg Cytomel.
What was your last levels?
There has also been postings from others on Cytomel that it is best to split the dose up (usually twice a day) as it doesnt stay in your system very long.
Others will post on this subject I am sure.
