Thyroid antibody positive but normal tsh results?

My doctor did things a little different than most I think. She ordered a thyroid antibody test before tsh. My thyroid antibody test came back as follows:
Thyroglobulin Ab <12.0 IU/mL 0.0 - 29.9 IU/mL
Thyroid Peroxidase Ab 157.7 IU/mL

Based on my thyroid peroxidase ab results she order a tsh test. By this time I was certain I had a thyroid issue. I had lost a ton of weight a few years back and then gained it all plus some (over 60 pounds) in a matter of 2 years. I exercise 6 days a week at high intensity and track what I eat and the scale does not move. I am constantly tired, sometimes depressed, and my hair is everywhere. It falls out in clumps. It's worse than having a dog. I also have stomach issues but I've always attributed those to having my gallbladder removed when I was 19.

Well my tsh results came back in "normal" range. I'm slightly disappointed because I was hoping for some answers and relief from my symptoms. My tsh results were 2.65 with a normal range of .37-5.

Is there any other test I should ask for or do my results seem normal? I'm afraid now that since my tsh is normal I won't get any help for my symptoms from my doctor.

Thanks!

Having a high Anti-TPO Ab means your thyroid glands keep getting non functional as months, years go by and low thyroid hormones can give symptoms as you are experiencing now. Its beneficial to start on a low dose thyroid hormone pill either levothyroxine or natural dessicated thyroid like 12.5 mcg levothyroxine or 1/4 grain NDT. Though the TSH reference range is broad like .5 to 5.5, normal thyroid gland people's TSH fall under .5 to 1.5.

TSH best range to aim for is between .5 to 1.5. But it can vary especially if have other conditions like Vitamin D deficiency, so before starting to supplement thyroid hormone pills rule out Vitamin D deficiency at least as its common one seen in hypothyroid people.
Thank you for your information. Hoping to talk to my doctor today about my results. Hopefully she will want to do something to help with the symptoms I have been having.

I was told I had Hashimoto's disease-- anti-tpo was high, but my TSH was also high.  When she checked my FT3 and FT4, those numbers were initially out of whack.  So, she put me on dessicated thyroid.  When I started taking that, my throat started to swell.  We've been trying to adjust my numbers and medication levels for 18 months, and when they were finally normal, I still didnt' feel right.  Heart racing, tightness in chest (I have low cholesterol, slight drinker -- only 2 a month, no smoking, weight still in normal range, though it doesn't go up or down quickly.)  I was feeling tremendous anxiety in the normal ranges, and my anti-tpo is now 248.  I definitely don't have answers or even think they treat hashimoto's, other than possibly an ultrasound and looking at your thyroid -- possibly a biopsy to look for cancerous cells or a toxic nodule.  On another response to somebody, the following link was recommended:  http://www.thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/TUK_PDFs/diagnosis_and_treatment_of_hypothyroidism_issue_1.pdf
