I was on Levoxyl only for about two weeks, then switched to Synthroid, because that's what my mail-order pharmacy has ( and it's so much cheaper going through the mail order pharmacy)  I don't see any difference, but maybe I haven't been on it long enough to see a difference.  Still adjusting meds . . .

I am also on Levoxyl. I switched from Synthroid, mainly because it is cheaper. I do not notice a difference, and that is a good thing.
It doesn't cause anxiety. I had anxiety when hypo, so that went away on the meds.
You do need to be careful of the t3 in Armour. It is extracted from pig thyroids, who have a higher ratio of t3 to t4 than humans.
Give the Levoxyl a good go before thinking about changing. (Like months and until your TSH is optimal.)

I've been trying Levoxyl for a month and I don't have any complaints. Well, one complaint. It's hard to swallow.

I was on Synthroid for a couple of years. I can't honestly say I notice any difference.

My advice is not to tinker around with Armour unless it is proven that you don't get along well with a drug like Levoxyl. Sme people cannot handle the extra T3 in Armour.

For others, it is neccesary.
