Thyroid or Peri menopause

About 6 months ago...started not feeling right....irritable, anger, lack of motivation..etc.  I thought was peri-menopause
(I am 52).  Had blood work done....found out needed an increase of thyroid medication.  Other hormones....good.
After increase....a couple of months ago....I am now having period ever 2 weeks???  Not sure if perimenopause or thyroid....or both????

I have to agree with goolara and must say...recently was dx'd with hypo and had the every two weeks period on and off for the past two years.  So, for me it definitely about any meds.

It could be either or a combination of both.  Have you had thyroid bloodwork done since your increase?  Which meds are you on and what was your dose before and after the increase?  If your thyroid levels are still off, especially if your increase was a bit too much, it could very well be contributing.  It's really difficult to sort out the symptoms of those two.
