Thyroid symptoms and no results.

Hi, I'm losing a LOT of hair, very moody all the time, haven't had my periiod for 5 months and I'm tired all day. My gp has done blood tests and nothing has come up in them?? I also had an internal ultrasound, and nothing abnormal. I have discussed my issues with friends and several of them that have had same symptoms and been diagnosed are convinced it's my thyroid, however the tsh level that was tested came up as 0.94..
Is it possible that there is something wrong with my thyroid, but hasn't been detected? Or could it be something else?
I'm soooooooooo tired of being tired all the time and my hair is thinning out so quickly..

Have your testosterone tested, my friend had the same symptoms and she had extremely high testosterone level, they did a MRI on her and found she had a tumor on her arederal gland just above her kidney.  She had surgery to remove the tumor and her testosterone level went back down to normal within a couple of days from the surgery.  Her hair is coming back now.

By the way, TSH doesn't tell the whole picture.  You need T3, T4, TSH, TPO, I have Hashimotos and it wasn't until they tested the TPO did I find out and I went miss diagnosed for years and gained up to 267.  Since being put on Armour Thyroid, I have lost 70lbs from February 09 until now.  Don't give up on yourself, give up on your doctor first.  If you feel he isn't doing everything to help you, find a new doctor that will.

Make sure the t3 and t4 test are actually the FREE t3 and the FREE t4 and not the TOTAL t3 and t4. Then post them here with laboratory reference ranges, so members can comment.
