Thyroid test within normal limits, but no answers

My husband has been having shortness of breath, weight loss 25 pounds, gas, nausea when eating, and fatigue. The doctors have been doing blood tests, chest x-ray, chest CT, ultrasound of abdomen, colonoscopy, endoscopy all normal. We just found out his TSH is 0.4., but his primary is not concerned. Should we be asking more questions? This has all been in the last 6-8 weeks.

I'm on the same boat. I have been having symptoms of hyperthyroidism for about 3 weeks now and I still don't have any answers either. I have had shortness of breath, heart palpitations, lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks, loss of appetite, nervousness, shaky, diarrhea/increased bowel movements. I have been to the ER twice because of feeling so sick and I still don't have an answer. The first time they said my TSH was normal but that my free T4 was high. The second time all my thyroid blood tests were normal. My PCP doesn't seem to even want to bother with it. He just said that my thyroid does feel alittle enlarged and he wants to refer me to and endocrinologist. I have a thyroid uptake scan scheduled for next week and an appointment with the endocrinologist next week also. Hopefully then I will have some answers. In the meantime I have had to deal with feeling horrible almost all day everyday. None of the doctors I have seen seem concerned. Hopefully my thyroid scan shows something because if not I guess I am just going crazy.

I also forgot he has been hoarse this entire time too and also had diarrhea, but the diarrhea is much better now. Just wondering why there is no rush to do a thyroid ultrasound. Test results were found out last week and no call from anyone.
