Thyroid therapy Huge problems

Please guys if anyonme can help Im stumped and so is my doc.

I have been diagnosed hypothyroid (high tsh ~5, multiple tests). However it took 3 years to start replacement therapy.
I have a huge metabolism ~3000kcal maintenance
dont feel cold
am slim

The thing was I am on trt and Gh and decided perhaps if I fixed thyroi it might regulate these glsnds properly and I could come of them.
Also my eyebrow kept puffing out a symtpom of hypo according to my doc.

SO I have gone on eltroxin and also armour.

Now the problem, I need to be on eltroxin or armour equiv of 150-200ug for effects to feel better good bowel movements energy etc and for tsh to be a good value.

HOwever I cannot go above 80ug or my heart rate goes throughg the roof. 100ug plus puts my resting heart rate at 90 versus 60 before treatment and it scares me hugely. SO Im on 80 ug equiv of armour at moment in 2 divided doses and for the last 3 months my eyebrow has gone and is hugely puffed like I was in a fight I need high amounts of fibre and tsh is 2.92. T4 and T3 are at very bottom of scale. just within range.

Any advice please?

I get the Puffy...before being diagnosed with thyroid disease.
I was convinced I had a tooth abcess, even though dentist didnt think so...so I had a filling, then a root filling, then I said take tooth out....the eye continued to be swollen puffy, I was then convinced it was the next tooth....same again, till I had tooth out...now with 3 teeth missing (which I hate) I still have the puffy eye, but I think now I can relate it to the tyroid disease....still tempted to have the next tooth out just incase...but friends keep talking me out of it!

I'm not familiar with eltroxin - is it a form of levothyroxine?  In my opinion it may be the armour causing some of the problems - the ratio of T3/T4 in armour is not the same as what is naturally made by our bodies.  Perhaps a straight T4 med (levothyroxine) plus a separate T3 replacement (like cytomel) would be better so that you can regulate each of them separately.  Also, has your doctor tried you on a beta blocker?  It's not uncommon for people who are hyper to have racing heart rates (or people who have gone too high on their replacement doses).  A beta blocker might be a great way to prevent the racing heart & allow you to stay on the doses you need to be therapeutic.  A final question - is your doctor a general practitioner or an endocrinologist?  My #1 suggestion for people with thyroid problems is to get an endocrinologist and one that treats LOTS of thyroid patients (many see mostly diabetic patients).  It often takes a few tries to find a good one that listens to patients and is willing to dose based upon symptoms as well as lab levels.  I hope this helps.
