thryroid help
hi
have been diganosed underactive thyroid for about 8 yrs, was on 125mcg up untill about 6mths ago then lowered to 100mcg but am noe having loads of symtoms, really tired, aching limbs, hair falling out, anexity my lastest results are
tsh 5.01 (0.38-4.70)
free t4 15 (12.0-32.0)
also tested my b12 and that was at 729 (223-650)
but gp has said all normal no action needed but on lab report it says abnormal, should i increase my thyroxine to 125mcg

they decreased my meds cos the blood work showed that i was taking to much thyroxine, i dont have those results only got these ones cos gp said all was fine and i wanted to see the results for myself,

TSH of 5.01 is definitely above range.
FT4 is low in the range. Most people feel better when their FT4 is at least mid-range.
I would think that an increase in meds back to 125 is definitely in line, particularly that you are also having symptoms.
Why did they decrease your dose from 125? How did you feel on 125?
