Unsure what this means

Saw my doctor this morning as a followup to some  beginning thyroid problems.  The right lobe is enlarged, but an ultrasound showed no nodules or problems.  I asked him my levels and instead of numbers was told my TSH was in normal range (it has a tendency to bounce around from 1.25 to 4.75 in the past), my T4 was borderline abnormal and my uptake was abnormal.  Right now I am on Levothyroxine 25 mcg.  What does this mean?   They drew blood again today for new levels.
