Thanks:-)
Interesting. I had no idea that also for men it could be an issue, like LM mentioned. However, let me tell you something, I love being a woman and I am a girlie one, but you guys are lucky not to have to go through all those fluctuations during most of your lifetime.
I think I am finally (after going up and down like a yo-yo) reaching my ideal dose. Fingers crossed. That is why I really want to stay there for at least 5 months and see how I feel which in the end it is the most important thing.
I am on my 30s so I am not going through menopause yet, but I have heard some testimonies about women my age using progesterone cream to just feel better. And I thought of that too!
Your thyroid pretty much regulates everything , so give it time to see if the meds help :)
Darn hormones, it is amazing what they do to us.
Yes, you should wait to see if your next tested thryoid levels are any better. You add porgesterone to the mix and you might find this will affect the thyroid levels.
If the thyroid testing is still not optimal then some extra progesterone can help both your female hormone issues and the thyroid levels.
Always eliminate one issue before another.
Well, you've been waiting 5 hours for a response.
I can only give you an answer based on my experience as a male. My testosterone was really low when my T4 was below the bottom of the range. It was a woman doctor that suggested testing this with my thyroid panel and glucose the same time. Low testosterone in men can create muscle pain, my problem - I had no idea. She new the possibilities of low thyroid effecting all of these. In my case she was right. Free Testosterone levels increased only after thyroid levels did. And my glucose went down, but I have to watch it. So after four months, it was fine, keep in mind I'm also close to 44.
5 or 6 months seems like a while. Hopefully some on the ladies will comment.
